Home improvement

Here is the pathway that we dug out, finished just as the big fat drops started falling.

Today Anthony got a load of "road base" which is really just granite dust. It will be the layer underneath the large flagstones that will one day form our new walkway. The kids very enthusiastically helped him to unload the stuff, which looks a little like cake mix but is MUCH heavier.

Plummer butt!

For some reason, Anna likes to wear one of her knitted hats while helping us do yardwork.

If only you could hear the happy shrieking!

Your yard looks so different from the last time I saw it, you have made a lot of changes. I love the plummer butt! Very cute little helpers. I think you need to have a party to show off your new front and back yard...

How'd you do that picture posting?
The yard is looking good and I can actually hear the kids shrieking.

The knit hat cracks me up! Colin's little plummer butt is ever-present, isn't it? Nice haircut, by the way.

Your yard is really looking good!

Finally, we get to see the short hair cut on Colin! Very nice indeed. Love, Nana

I love the knit hat thing - obviously, one must wear some sort of skull-hugging headgear when gardening and only Anna knows why.

The stories and pictures of your life are such a peaceful little slice of blog pie.

The first thing I noticed was the plummer's butt! Boy that dirt is a kids dream come true. I can't wait to see the finished project.

I love Colin's shovel full of dirt flying through the air! You sure are training them early on how to be good Pflugers, huh?
