The house seems quiet to me

Francesca is staying with my friend and coworker, Stacy, this weekend while we went to Ft. Worth. I'm sure she is having a big time with Stacy's four canines.

"Did you miss Francesca?" I asked Anthony on Friday after I dropped her off.

"I did when I was cooking!" he said. "I dropped so much on the floor, and I had to pick it up myself!"

Ha ha...I can relate! When I moved away from you and Terlingua, I noticed I had to pick up more after myself in the kitchen, too.

How funny...with seven dogs in our house NOTHING hits the floor. (except dirt and hair)...as crazy as our house is, when I house/pet sit I sure miss them all. But I do enjoy the peace and quite.

I think that "Take off all your preppy clothes." is going to be the solution to all my problems from now on. ;) Thanks, Jen!

Carving the lamb shank last w/e I dropped a small piece and Patchie slinked in to inspect the offering. She did not eat it however because it lacked mint sauce or onions steeped in vinegar. After we opened the Chateau neuf du Pape ,the cork rolled onto the floor. Patchie sniffed the cork and then nibbled at the lamb. Honest!
