"Shattered" doesn't sound good.

Shattered is an English phrase for very very tired. Like so tired you can't think properly and are apt to make mistakes.

'Shattered' is a good word,Jenn. when you are 'beggared'! 'Weary' is another tired word..:) some people in England use the word 'Knackered' too :) so I guess you had had enough!

Ah A Norma beat me to it; knackered is a very good one, of course you could also try "cream crackered" which is of course rhyming slang for it. Hope you feel rested soon XXX
Okay, thanks for the reassurance.
I use "knackered" all the time. One day I decided to look it up to see the word's history. It describes the condition of a work animal so old and used up it is headed for the glue factory, or similar destination. Some days I DO feel that tired!
