I told Hannah what the girls had to do to get that puppy - go up in front of crowds, in nice dresses, with their hair brushed, and smile all of the time - she backed right down!
Can you imagine a worse time to get a puppy than when a family is trying to settle into a new house and routine? That poor puppy will probably be schizophrenic!
I love my husband Anthony, my kids Anna and Colin, and my job as a small animal vet. I also love cooking for family and friends, drinking red wine, and jogging around the lake with my dog Francesca.

I have been in negotiation with my daughter about getting a dog for a couple of months now. She's totally using the Obama puppy against me.
You have to appreciate her honest approach.

I like Anna's honesty: "mostly"
:-)
I'm confused -- she has a puppy, n'est pas?! e chiamata francesca! She is taken care of by you...mostly.
Well you've got two cats, two kids and only one dog. Where's the fairness in that. You need two dogs. E cosi.
I like the mostly part. I think that note could have come from my husband. :)
