My goodness... I did not know we had such nice Bollywood fan following outside !... I am amazed and happy :)
What songs do you have on bwood playlist ? My friends and I are most intrigued !
Also, whats bollywood aerobics ?
What a nice sum of 2010. I loved reading this.
Your comments about Sweet Sudie Pearl are priceless. Yesterday at breakfast, after finally settling Mom into her new, single apartment, I looked around and it hit me again. I really miss Sudie! She loved her breakfast - her best meal of the day. So I sit here writing, remembering and crying....Love, M
Doll, thanks for visiting and commenting. Bollywood Aerobics is like a regular aerobic dance class, except with great Bollywood tunes. A lot of the steps I use are similar to what are in the videos on YouTube, but simplified. We workout for about 40 minutes, then do arm/leg/abdominal exercises. We have a mix of Indian and American women who attend the classes.
Some of the songs on my playlist are: Twist, Nagada Nagada, Barso Re, Dil Se Re, Chaiyya Chaiyya, Dholna, Ye Ishq Hai, Love Mera Hit HIt, and everything from Dil Bole Hadippa and Slumdog Millionaire. Heavy on the AR Rahman and Shreya Ghoshal -- I love her voice! Several of my Indian students have asked for the exact playlist for parties! Quite a compliment. What do you think?
I am sooo amazed !!!
You guys have the best party mix in the playlist !!!
Amazing.....
Next time a great peppy song comes in Bollywood, I will send it to you...
Can you try looking for 2 major hits these days on youtube ?
they are :
1. "Munni badnaam hui darling tere liye"
2. "Sheila, Sheila ki jawani"
Would love to know how you like them... :)
Rahman is amazing... he has a great sense for music and Shreya indeed has a lovely voice...
btw, you have a lovely family !! :)
What a great post! We have much in common, but I may copy your format anyway. :-)
New carpet would be nice. Great post. I like your pic. I almost erased it from the stick but there was something about it..
