You were wonderfully comforting.

And, of course, I was there for Terlingua's. I'm sure it will help Marion to have you there.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07130185365933628934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10715455.post-66843971821397761242007-11-09T08:53:00.000-06:002007-11-09T08:53:00.000-06:00I agree, it is always hard to discuss the end, but...I agree, it is always hard to discuss the end, but sometimes we have to be an advocate for the animal. I hope the cat's owners make a decision and come in today. I think there is a point when you know, you know with certainty, that it's time for your pet.

A close friend's parent in Belgium has been terminally ill for some time. There, you can apply for the right to practice euthanasia, which he did. When it got to the point where they knew that additional pain meds would cause him to slip into a coma, they knew that would be the end, and they were able to plan for it and prepare for it, as was he. You can't get more dignified than that, I think.Sindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13737515424836446496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10715455.post-29230626238860583172007-11-09T04:26:00.000-06:002007-11-09T04:26:00.000-06:00It is such a difficult decision to make.
